It was Bangalee‘s birthday on Tuesday 9th June 2015 and he’s also celebrating 10 years in the music industry. It really comes to mind to share the track some have referred to as his breakthrough track. None other track than “Tongolo“!
The days when Eja Nla still played the harmonica! Released under Mo’Hits Records in 2005 as the lead single off the “No Long Thing” album, he sings about the secret he uses “for all these women“. It also provided his Koko Master persona, with the term, “koko”, taking on several meanings.
The music video for “Tongolo” also won the “Best Newcomer” award at the 2006 Channel O Music Video Awards.
Notice how I didn’t call him “D’banj” in the above paragraphs?
