Did You Know?

It’s barely been a week since MBGN 2005, Omowunmi Akinnifesi graduated from King’s College, London with a Master’s degree and we’ve already spotted her on the other side of the globe having herself some fun. Here she is at New York Fashion Week in well, New York duh! 😀 I wonder when we’ll be seeing her on the Nigerian red carpet for a change.

If you think she’s having fun, some of our Nigerian OAPs have a little something to say about that. Let’s take a peak into the world of Cool FM OAP Shine Begho and Beat FM OAP Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi.

Shine has been out in Germany on quite a business trip holiday because all the photos look like she’s having a blast.

Gbemi,on the other hand, really turned it up a notch as she partied down in Miami, Florida. Check this!

With the heat of the Miami vibe, she had to tear out a bikini… twice. Chilling with Dangote and D’Banj, fun in the Miami sun and even got to do some para-sailing, Gbemi sure knows how to have a good time.

It wasn’t all fun and games this week though. Some of our stars came out to walk for cancer awareness today, Saturday, 7th September, 2013. The likes of Susan Peters, Karen Igho, Skales, Seyi Shay and Cool FM OAP, Kaylah Oniwo were in attendance.

A walk against cancer, now that is some serious exercise but who else to let us all know that he can walk work it out than Uzikwendu

We can’t talk about buff guys without mentioning Omo Akin, that’s for sure. The “Ta Lo So Be” crooner has been get mad radio rotation for quite a number of his singles, especially most recently for his fast paced “Do Me Wayo”. It’s no wonder he’s shot a music video for it but my only wonder is – what is that horse doing there?

It definitely looks like it’s got some humor. We’ll definitely be looking forward to that.

Back to the topic of our celebrities rocking out their holidays, one of Nollywood’s gems, Rita Dominic has been in New York, Miami and Las Vegas in the past few days. From glamming upthe NEAs in New York to chill out Miami and finally, splurging in Las Vegas, all I can say is “some do it big, some do it better”
