Amarachi Nwosu has directed a short film titled “A Game for All” which centers on the value of women in sports.

The inspiring film, which was done as part of a Nike series, showcases talented female footballers in Lagos, their ability to own the sport as much as anyone else and emphasizes that women can be whoever and whatever they choose to be.

Nike teamed up with Girls in Film and three emerging female directors who show what the game looks like in their communities.

Grateful to have Directed my first film for @nikewomen on the value of women in sports with an amazing group of young players in Lagos???✨! So glad I was able to represent Nigeria and be apart of pushing the narrative of women’s soccer globally and the power of making the game inclusive for all. – thank you to my @girlsinfilm_gif family for having me be apart of this incredible project and giving a voice to young women and women of color. Another big thank you to my amazing team in Naij who helped put this together! My senior year of high school after playing soccer competitively for 10years I tore my ACL and had not been able to play on that level again. If that never happened I wouldn’t have been able to create this story that could impact more women to play soccer and be apart of a much bigger movement. Gods plan is divine and even the setbacks have purpose!
