When two people from two different backgrounds and nationalities come together in the name of love, we are double excited! This time, it is Sierra Leone, meets Nigeria.

Lorraine and Unyime show us how love transcends cultures and origins. The two went from being college mates to University mates and now on their way to spending forever together. How sweet ?. Regardless of their different nationalities, these two were brought together by the one thing that brings us all together, which is love. This same love is propelling them to spend the rest of their lives together.

How We Met

Unyime and I met in college back in 2012, it was a Thursday. We both remember the day so clearly and even what we were both wearing. He didn’t hold back immediately he saw me, straight away he asked one of my friends  who was my friend too for my contact. We later became friends and ended up in the same university which is where our friendship and love became stronger .

In the University, we spent time studying, worshiping and praying together, which led to us becoming best of friends. In August of 2017, at my Master’s degree graduation party, he got down on one knee in front of all my family and friends to ask me to be his bride. Of course, I said yes! God has been so good , and we give him all the praise and thanks for bringing us this far.
