The Housemates share Fart Tales & Venita dares Sir Dee to Kiss Her on #BBNaija Day 47
The Drama After The Win
Here’s the drama that took place in the House after the Icons won the Wager Task.
As the Icons celebrated their Wager win, Cruisetopia threw themselves into a pool of blame game. Some members of the group were particularly angry at Biggie’s remark about letting their ego have the best of them. Apparently, he was referring to the rift between Seyi and Mike before the Task presentation. Having realized their mistakes, the Housemates decided to call a meeting to avoid losing in subsequent Tasks.
After The Victory
We all know how much it hurts when you lose a game and it doesn’t help when you lose to sore winners. Tacha had a full dose of it last week in the hands of the Cruisetopia team led by Seyi and this time, Tacha wanted her own pound of flesh. Remember Seyi sarcastically asked her to leave the lounge for the winning team while they shopped. Well, her plan to extract her pound of flesh wasn’t exactly successful as she met a match in Esther, who promptly asked her and her team to leave. Surprisingly, all Tacha could say was a repeated, “I was just leaving.”
After this incident, each member of the team, starting with Seyi, tried to give reasons for their low input in the Task. After resolving to put in their best in subsequent Tasks, Mike and Seyi settled their dispute and hugged each other.
No Kiss for You
In a playful manner, Venita dared Sir Dee to kiss her, but he wasn’t about that life and bolted. Venita must have been hurt by this subtle rejection as she asked him why he bolted over a kiss. She even went further to ask if she had bad breath. Being the smart chap he was and probably so as not to hurt her feelings, Sir Dee lighten up the conversation, but Venita was quite done yet and retorted defensively, “My mouth is not stinking and my kiss is great. It’s a very costly something. Even when there is begging for it, I do not give it.” Has there ever been a Task without Housemates serving us some drama? Well, this time, it was about Venita and Sir Dee.
Night-time Hooligans
What started off as tussle for duvet and pillows between Mike and Jackye soon snowballed into a free for all when a few of the Pepper Dem Gang tugged at each other in the early hours of the morning. Mike in his bid to retrieve his duvet from Jackye met quite a resistance as she held on tightly to it. Venita soon joined in as she teamed up with Jackye to keep Mike from making away with the pillow and duvet. Feeling overwhelmed, Mike yelled out for Ike who soon joined in alongside Joe. It was a playful battle as Mercy, Mike, Venita, Jackye, Joe, and Ike didn’t just stop at dragging each other’s duvets but also went for their beds. “This is a mad House,” Ike yelled as they further descended into chaos. The tussle which went on for over an hour ended with Mike and Jackye pouring water on each other’s beds.
Away from the competition and tension, It was quite refreshing watching the Housemates playfully wrestle each other without it turning into an actual fight.

Fart And Other Bants
The farts are getting louder and longer and the Housemates can’t stand it anymore.
It’s a new day in the Big Brother Naija House and the Pepper Dem Gang have a few things they wanted to get off their chest.
The Fart Tales
The Pepper Dem Gang called it “The Album.” The length determines if it’s an EP or an LP. If you are confused about what we are talking about, it’s totally understandable. Let’s break it down. Apparently, some of the Housemates are in the habit of farting and what made it amusing was the way Gedoni, Seyi, Joe and Sir Dee described it this morning while lamenting about it. Some, they complained farted loudly, some, they said farted for quite a long stretch and the sound they made was why they referred to it as an album. The duration of the fart determined if it was an Extended Play or a Long Playing. While it is perfectly normal to fart, do the Housemates really need to turn it into a fun sport?
The Bathroom Issue
As some Housemates complained about other’s farts, another batch led by Tacha were doing the same thing. This time, it wasn’t about the fart, but it was still about the bathroom use. Tacha complained about the state of the bathroom and people not properly cleaning up after use. It didn’t help that she found shaved hair lying around. “You cannot have a bad character at home and bring it here,” she said, obviously disappointed at the culprit. This incident reminded about Thelma and how she wouldn’t have taken it likely with the erring Housemates. Better to be remembered for something than nothing at all.
… And The Wrestlers
Last night, a playful pillow tussle turned into a free for all fight and the Housemates (AKA wrestlers) at the forefront of the battle reminisced about it. While they apportioned blames to the ring leaders (Jacky and Mike), they were quick to deny it when Enkay complained about someone throwing a pillow at her. “Must have been your dream,” Jackye said.
As Eviction approaches, it’s nice to see the Housemates occupying themselves with other issues. Guess they’ve finally embraced the “What will be will be” mantra.
Let’s Go Fishing
For a reward of 600 Bet9ja Coins, the Pepper Dem Gang became fishes in Biggie’s House.
The Twist
Tonight’s Arena Games required the Pepper Dem Gang to complete the Challenge in three teams. The twist is that these teams had to be different from their current team set-up of The Icons and Cruisetopia.
With the HoH – Seyi guiding the team selection process, we had: team one consisting of Khafi, Gedoni, Cindy, Omashola, Seyi, and Diane; Team two with Tacha, Enkay, SirDee, Venita, Elozonam and Joe and lastly, team three comprising Frodd, Jackye, Esther, Mike, Mercy and Ike.
The Contest
Gorgeously dressed in their themed outfits, the Pepper Dem Gang displayed their fishing skills in the relay race Challenge.
As they successfully passed a piece of fish on to the next teammate in each phase, the Housemates went through a complete fish game. From the fish wiggle to the game of bubbles, the fetching of pebbles, the monkey bar Challenge, fish-catching Task and finally the shark feeding course, tonight’s Bet9ja Arena Games was an action-packed one.
Ready, Set, Game!
In five minutes and thirty seconds, team one completed the Task after evidently flouting Biggie’s rules, which made them go through the Challenge over and over again. Surprisingly, they finished off before the buzzer went off. Teamwork speaking, perhaps?
Tacha, Enkay, Sir Dee, Venita, Elozonam and Joe successfully went through the relay race in two minutes, thirty-seven seconds; which made them the team champion in the Challenge.
Psyche!
What’s a Challenge without the Pepper Dem Housemates going against Biggie’s rules? Teams one and two were rewarded with two additional minutes to their Task completion time. Which left team one with seven minutes, thirty seconds and team two with four minutes, thirty-seven seconds.
This sealed the Arena Games with team three being the winner of tonight’s fishing contest, as they completed the Challenge in three minutes and fifty-two seconds.
For this reason, Frodd, Jackye, Esther, Mike, Mercy, and Ike happily walked out of the Arena with a hundred Bet9ja Coins each as Biggie congratulated them for being the team with the best time.
Rewards and Special Recognitions
Members of team three weren’t the only ones who got rewarded for their efforts. From the swear jar mission to the talent display Task yesterday, the Pepper Dem Gang did not fail to impress Biggie this week. For this, he commended the Housemates for the seeming commitment the House is showing. In addition, Joe, Venita, Frodd, Elozonam, and Enkay were given special mentions by Biggie for their great acts and performances in yesterday’s Wager presentation.
Way to go, Housemates! More wins ahead. Speaking of wins, we seem to be having a constant set of Task winners amongst the Pepper Dem Gang. Is this going to be a norm?
The Crown On Their Heads
Heavy is the head that wears the crown…
The succession to the Head of House (HoH) throne is regulated by the Pepper Dem Housemates’ ability to earn the crown. Whether through a balloons-popping Challenge or after several rounds of pegs and buttons, the Pepper Dem Heads of House have given their subjects fiery reigns.
The Chosen King
A king that declared Wednesday a no-work day for the Pepper Dem ladies? Yes, please!
On their first day in Biggie’s House, the Pepper Dem Housemates were Tasked to select the first occupant of the HoH chair – in essence, they had to appoint a King or Queen to rule the Pepper Dem kingdom. Jeff who clearly seemed to be the most liked Housemate was chosen to rule as the Head of House for the week, evidently, he had seven votes from his subjects and thereafter, was announced by Omashola as the ruler.
With KimOprah being his right-hand woman (following her appointment as the Veto Power Holder), Jeff’s reign can be described as cool, calm and collected. We reckon there’s no other way to describe a king that was known for settling fights even before they broke out.
Never underrate the power of a silent king – this was the case of Jeff as his reign was evidently a successful one. Knowing the Pepper Dem gang and their ability to turn into warriors within a second, it was surprising to see them go a week without a fight – well, except when it came to food struggles.
The Orderly King
Known as the resident chef, it was of no surprise seeing Nelson beat Ike in a game of pegs and cookies.
His favourite song as a ruler in the House was “One House, please” and his ability to bring the House to a minimum level of chaos didn’t go unnoticed. Little wonder why he often lamented, “This HoH work na slavery oo” – when his fellow Housemates threw endless requests at him. Perhaps he was recognized as a commanding king or maybe it was just the calmness that came with his sovereignty.
Why describe him as an orderly king? During Nelson’s period in HoH office, he did not fail to seek the opinion of his subjects whenever they were Tasked to a Challenge by Biggie. With the number of times he always asked them to raise their hands up in support of a notion, it was apparent that Nelson was for the people.
For a king that brought order into the House, we can’t help but wonder why the Housemates lost their first Wager in Biggie’s House during Nelson’s reign. We also reckon this overly calm nature of the orderly king was what led to his inability to bring Omashola to order during a play rehearsal.
The No-nonsense Queen
With great power comes great accountability and Esther wasn’t one to shy away from exercising power, no matter the level of responsibilities.
Being the first female Head of House possibly put her in a lot of pressure which didn’t go unnoticed in the Pepper Dem House, judging from her no-nonsense demeanour during her reign.
Unlike the leaders before her, Esther took a less diplomatic and more authoritative approach as the Head of the Pepper Dem House. From the moment she made a decisive decision to overthrow Tacha from her kitchen duties to the time she declined Frodd’s request for spray starch (and his heart), the Pepper Dem gang sure had a full dose of the iron lady.
“Can you let me finish speaking before you talk?” “Ask Biggie yourself” are some of the words the fiery HoH threw at her subjects that made them know she wasn’t a ruler to play with or be taken for granted.
Esther was a go-getter and the first Wager win for the Pepper Dem gang was bagged during her time in power. It’s safe to say her rule wasn’t all fierce and fire.
Her determination to drive the Housemates to a Wager win was appreciated by the House, although that came with a lot of toes-stepping and tough dealings.
Iron lady or not, Esther’s reign will not be easily forgotten as she gave the Pepper Dem gang their first Wager win.
The Toughest King
We call him the toughest of them all because his throne was tested by twists and turns in Big Brother’s House.
With trying to balance the atmosphere in the House by constantly instructing the Housemates on the Tasks to inducting the new Pepper Dem Housemates, Frodd’s reign as the Head of House was action-filled.
Asides ruling the hearts of two Pepper Dem ladies, Frodd’s governance in the House was an unruffled one. His ability to successfully receive the new additions to the gang while putting the House in order as they prepared for their weekly Tasks was not overlooked.
The Authoritative King
Twice as nice, the Pepper Dem’s longest-ruling HoH till date has successfully ruled two times in a row.
We’re not sure if it’s the strength from the Secret Room or the deadly VPH Save and Replace slip-up he made, Seyi has effortlessly shown Biggie why the HoH throne should be named after him.
For some unknown reasons, his reign has recorded the highest number of fights in the Pepper Dem House. Could this be the power and pride that comes with sitting on the throne? Whatever it is, we can’t deny that this ruler is serving a mild level of authoritative leadership to his subjects.
From his dealings with Ike, Mike and Frodd, Seyi has not failed to show us why his governance displayed a level of command and tyranny.
“Will you guys shut up and let me eat?” he said when addressing Seyi and Joe’s fight. The resident sugar daddy has a way of commanding respect and authority while dealing with his fellow Housemates.
It definitely isn’t a bad idea having the authoritative leadership style as a ruling stick for the Pepper Dem Gang, considering their inability to get things done without being yelled at. The good thing about his leadership is his ability to shake things off quickly and get back to mingling with his subjects.
Ruling the Pepper Dem Gang isn’t an easy Task and we can’t wait to have a record of the leader with the ability to keep the group out of harm’s way.
