Registration is open for the 2019 edition of the Annual Education Conference; The NEDIS Education Innovation Summit.
NEDIS Education Innovation Summit is an annual educator sector stakeholders’ convening, organized and hosted by The Education Partnership (TEP) Centre. This event is designed as a platform to highlight the role of education innovations in solving challenges facing the delivery of accessible and high-quality education.
Since its inception, conversations at NEDIS have explored new, exciting and sustainable approaches for increasing access to quality education, especially for the marginalized and undeserved. Discussions at the summit underscore the importance of identifying and systematically scaling innovations such that they become more deeply embedded in policy systems and reach more beneficiaries.
With partnerships from Union Bank, Oando Foundation, Verraki Business Solutions, and Bridge International Academies, NEDIS 2019 has become a key event in the Nigeria’s education sector event calendar, convening stakeholders from government, research and academia, development and funding organisations, corporations, civil society organisations and a broad range of education innovators for two days of rich discourse, knowledge sharing, learning, capacity development and networking.
Speaking at this year’s edition of NEDIS are Dr. Yemi Kale (Statistician-General/CEO of National Bureau of Statistics), Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, (Former Minister of Education), Fela Durotoye (2019 Presidential Candidate and CEO, GEMSTONE Group), and Subomi Plumptre (Executive Director, Alder Consulting). Others include Obafela Bank-Olemoh (Former Special Adviser on Education, Lagos State), Kehinde Nwani (MD/CEO, Meadow Hall Group), Folasade Adefisayo (Principal Consultant, Leading Learning Ltd.), lyin Aboyeji (Co-Founder, Andela), Hamzat Lawal (Founder/CEO, Connected Development), among others.
