Ade Samuel is One of Hollywood’s Most Powerful Stylists! – According to Hollywood Reporter

Hollywood Reporter has unveiled it’s annual 25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood List!

The list spotlights 25 of the game-changing stylists behind the biggest and best celebrity looks all through the year. For the feature, Hollywood’s most powerful stylists pose with their star clients in the magazine’s latest issue.

This year, the inclusion of stylists who work with men is applaudable as men in Hollywood are now more open to exploring their style on the red carpet. This includes top stylist Ade Samuel who is having a phenomenal 2019, she was listed by Women’s Wear Daily as one to watch in the fashion industry earlier in the year, and now, the Nigerian joins other top stylists on this list.

One of her recently critically acclaimed work is styling Michael B. Jordan for the 2019 Oscars in a midnight blue velvet Tom Ford tux.

Ade is also known for her work with Black Panther star, Letitia Wright, Kofi Siriboe and  Justine Skye.

Ade shared the good news on Instagram with the caption:

She spoke with the magazine about styling Jordan at the SAG Awards, where he wore a custom double-breasted Louis Vuitton navy tuxedo with Virgil Abloh‘s signature “bib,” aka a harness – a statement-making look.

The look that went viral was Michael B. Jordan at the SAG Awards. The look was so distinct that it created a dialogue regarding menswear and the risks you can take in today’s culture.

Also on the list, Law Roach who is known for working with top Hollywood stars including Céline Dion, Zendaya, Demi Lovato, and Mary J Blige. Joining Roach, Tom Eerebout and Sandra Amador; the stylists behind Lady Gaga‘s limitless wardrobe, Wayman Bennerman and Micah McDonald, who styled Regina King at the 2019 Oscars and Karla Welch, who styles Tracee Ellis Ross.
