Ariana Grande gets a Japanese Tattoo but it Doesn’t Mean What She Thinks ?
To celebrate the release of her number 1 single “7 Rings,” Ariana Grande decided to get tattoo of the song title in Japanese characters.
Thing is, though, Ariana got the Japanese character meaning 7 “七” and the one meaning rings “輪,” which, unfortunately, together mean something completely different.
So while separately they say “7” and “rings,” together they mean shichirin, which is a Japanese style bbq grill.
Ariana Grande’s new tattoo “七輪” means Japanese style bbq grill, not 7 rings. ? If you want to know about 七輪, just google “SHICHIRIN” pic.twitter.com/HuQM2EwI62

In a since deleted tweet, Ariana addressed the news, writing:
Indeed, I left out ‘つの指’ which should have gone in between. It hurt like (expletive) n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.
Let’s hope the peeling happens soon.
