Joy Adenuga, Tola Olayanju, Wura Manola Speak at The Summer Bridal Brunch by Get Wedding Ready

The 2nd edition of The Summer Bridal Brunch hosted by Get Wedding Ready in London this summer was bigger and better. The event had 30 brides-to-be in attendance. The aim of the event was to bring brides-to-be together and help them take their wedding planning to the next level through panel sessions delivered by UK’s top wedding vendors and learn from former brides. It was also an escape from wedding planning and a way to meet other brides-to-be, share ideas and possibly make some friends. The event was a three-hour event with plenty of food and drinks.

This year we got to partner with the 5-Star Luxurious Sofitel London, St James hotel to host the event. We had 6 top UK wedding vendors on the panel including Joy Adenuga, Tola Olayanju of Charis Hair, Tonbra Nwos of Anaiah Grace, Jacqueline James of Jacqui James and Chioma Alade of Studio-Chi Design House. This panel was titled ‘How to plan YOUR dream wedding: best wedding planning tips’.

We also had Seyi Ayinla of LoveWeddingsNG present on top wedding trends.  The event also featured a former bride panel which consisted of the host, Wura Manola, Tosin Oladimeji of #toster2016, Yvonne Bajela of #joeyve2018 and Roseanne Oparah of #TheOparahs. While we also had 6 exhibitors on the day consisting of The HuntersCocktails, Beautiful & Affordable Jewellery, Bloominnorahire, DHM Makeup, KFUNC Experience and Gtruly Weddings. For the vendors and exhibitors, it was a way to make new connections and possible business opportunities.

The host Wura Manola has one aim: to make wedding planning information more accessible for brides-to-be and to make the wedding planning journey easier through her event planning company, Get Wedding Ready.
