LeBron James leaves Cleveland for LA Lakers in $154m deal
Four-time NBA MVP LeBron James has left his hometown team the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Los Angeles Lakers on a four-year, $153.3 million contract.
The move was announced by his agency Klutch Sports Group on Twitter.

This is the second time LeBron is leaving the Cavaliers, the first in 2010 for Miami Heat where he won championships in both 2012 and 2013, before returning to Cleveland in 2014.
LeBron has had a phenomenal career with the Cavaliers, helping them win the championship in 2016.
He thanked the city on his Instagram, writing: “Thank you Northeast Ohio for an incredible 4 seasons. This will always be home.”
