Pure Souls Learning Foundation is set to hold its Breakfast Meeting themed Nutritional Support for Healthy Living | February 17th

Pure Souls Learning Foundation was conceived in the year 2007 to assist indigent families with children affected by autism in Nigeria with particular attention to Patrick Speech and Languages Centre.

Patrick Speech and Languages Centre (Patricks) established in 2006, is a special needs center designed to assist children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Aspergers Syndrome, Speech and Language problems and other learning disabilities.

Autism, being a complex developmental disability typically appears during the first three years of life and is the result of a neurological disorder that affects the normal functioning of the brain, impacting development in the areas of social interaction, communication, and imaginative skills.  Both children and adults with autism show difficulties in verbal and non-verbal communication, social interactions and leisure or play activities.

The actual cause of this developmental disorder remains unknown, but with early intervention and appropriate education, this disorder can be managed.

We have been at forefront of training on autism and other related disorders. We are designed to assist individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Aspergers’ Syndrome, Speech and Language problems and other learning disabilities.

As you may already be aware, families that have persons living with disabilities, physical, visual, learning related or otherwise, are usually challenged with their children’s day to day functionality ranging from self-grooming to other activities of daily living, speech development as well coping with academic skills. As a result of this, many families encounter inability to function at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioural and adjustment.

In a bid to improve and stabilize their mental health, Pure Souls Learning Foundation has once again come up with a one-day training. This training themed ‘Nutritional Support for Healthy Living’ will be facilitated by Dr. Olufemi Ladehinde, a renowned nutritionist and medical practitioner.
