NYFWSS18: Fenty by Rihanna x Puma Spring 2018 Runway Showcase
The collaborative ready-to-wear line by pop star Rihanna and Athletic brand Puma “Fenty x Puma” presented one of the edgiest showcases at NYFW so far.
It was a motocross themed runway show that began with a dare-devil round of motorcycle stunts before giving way to top models including Mayowa Nicholas strutting along the runway in the vibrant pieces.
The athleisure collection drew its inspiration from nearly all sportswear and turned these defined pieces including surf wear to versatile fashion. If anyone can make fire-retardant racing suits streetstyle chic, it’s definitely bad gal Riri.
Her final bow was of course on a motorcycle blowing kisses at the gleeful audience.
