#DrawingWhileBlack is Trending on Twitter and We Can’t Get Enough
It’s hard to be a creative anywhere, with people dismissing your hard work, offering you crappy pay (that’s if they don’t offer to pay you with “exposure”), and your parents advising you to find a “real job.”
It’s especially hard when you’re a creative and you’re black – anywhere you are in the world.
It’s hard to get noticed, and getting noticed is one of the most important things as an artists.
To put themselves out there, on Twitter, artists began a hashtag #DrawingWhileBlack and it is the littest thing in a long time.
