Hollywood actor Mel Gibson has welcomed his ninth child.
The 61-year-old actor and his 26-year-old girlfriend Rosalind Ross celebrated the arrival of a healthy baby boy over the weekend at a hospital in Los Angeles.
Mel, who is already father to eight other children, and his girlfriend, this is the first child, named the little boy Lars Gerard.
