Naeto C is the face of Sport Luxe Menswear Brand MXVV’s Harmattan/Dry Collection 2017 | See the Campaign Photos

MXVV is the birth child of fast rising Menswear Designer Babatunde Oyeyemi. He felt there was a niche in the Urban Wear Market in Nigeria with a lot of urban wear brands very stale and simple he decided to create a diffusion line from Maxivive called MXVV. He also just didn’t want to create an Urban Brand he also wants to create a Nigerian Subculture

This season, we introduce uber talented rapper and mastermind producer, Naetochukwu Chikwe, popularly known as Naeto C as the face of MXVV Harmattan/Dry Collection 2017 (HD17). The HD17 Collection was premiered at the South African Menswear Week Spring Summer 2017 showcase in July, Capetown South Africa .

The campaign shoot was Shot by fine art photographer, Kadara Enyeasi. He recalls Naeto C’s energy as “vibrant, energetic and effortless.”

“I knew we have set ourselves up for an amazing experience choosing Naeto C as the face of the brand for the MXVV HD17 Collection,” Oyeyemi explains in a recent interview  after the successful debut of the HD17 Collection at South Africa Men’s Week.

The HD collection definitely is very Sport Luxe and very versatile, for the new collection the brand definitely was inspired by movements and unique style of fabric and style that breathes fresh air into the world of urban culture in Nigeria. The collection plays beautifully by using fabrics like organza which is rarely used in urban wear this allows that edge of luxury to the collection.

The MXVV brand is the first Urban wear brand of its kind to use the concept of Nigerian Creative Artist. The brand  believes its time Creative Artist collides with Fashion to create a Nigerian Subculture Movement. Let the MXVV revolution begin!
