Russian Plane Crash in Egypt: Authorities Suspect ISIS Bomb Brought Down Jet
The cause of the crash of the Russian Kogalymavia Flight 9268 in Egypt on Saturday, which left all 224 people on board dead, is a tragedy that puzzled authorities, as the exact cause of the unfortunate incident remained a mystery for many days.
And now, authorities seem to be getting closer to discovering what really occurred, as U.S. intelligence analysis now suggests that ISIS terror group or its affiliates planted a bomb on the plane, CNN reports.
However, officials stressed that “no formal conclusion has been reached by the U.S. intelligence community and that U.S. officials haven’t seen forensic evidence from the crash investigation.”
