Rising Fashion label JZO presents Intricate Detailing & Aso-Oke Pieces in the “Aremo” 2016 Collection!
Fashion collections make our days so special – especially when they’re coming from emerging new talent with a lot to offer.
Menswear label, JZO, is fresh on the fashion scene and bring to you their ‘Aremo‘ collection for Harmattan 2016. Translating in Yoruba to ‘Heir Apparent’ the collection is inspired by the modern day struggle of the African man to adopt a contemporary style while retaining his traditional identity.
The collection features a blend of non-traditional jackets with rebellious play on symmetry, with detailed lapels. The pieces are made entirely from handwoven custom made Aso-Oke fabrics detailed with elaborate Hausa/Fulani Aiki-Sama embroidery all in JZO’s color palette.
The fabulous bags were created by Tunde Owolabi Studios who produced the bags & shoes featured in the collection.
