A few weeks ago, BN brought you the news that residents and traders in Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, took to the streets to protest the transfer of Boko Haram prisoners to Anambra prisons.
Following the protests, Anambra governor, Willie Obiano, promised residents in the state that the prisoners would soon be relocated.
However, Enugu residents have joined the voices of protest. According to several online reports, residents took to the streets of Abakpa Nike and Ogbete Market to urge the federal government to take prompt action concerning the matter.
