4 Nigerian Students Found Dead in their Georgia Apartment
Four Nigerian students were found dead in their apartment in Tbilisi, Georgia in the early hours of Thursday.
We received an e-mail this morning from a source said to be close to the deceased. Here is what the individual stated:
Hi Bella,A tragic incident happened in Tbilisi, Georgia today. At about 3:00 AM in the morning, 4 Nigerian boys were found dead in their apartment. This was as a result of poor renovation on the part of their Landlords which resulted to the leakage of Gas from the heater in the apartment. 2 of these students were final year Medical students due for graduation in July. The Nigerian people have no embassy, consular premises or diplomatic mission and there is no proper representation as there are a lot of us studying here. This is the second incident. The first were 2 girls in a city called Kutaisi. Hope you will use your good platform to spread this catastrophic incident.

Although the source stated the students’ purported cause of death, we are yet to see official reports corroborating this. We will keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available.
