Autopsy of Killed Unarmed African-American Teen Michael Brown reveals He Was Shot At Least 6 Times
BN has kept you updated on the killing of an unarmed 18-year-old African-American Michael Brown. From the start, to the viral hashtag – #IfTheyGunnedMeDown to the #DontShootUs hashtag started by the students of Howard University, Washington D.C.
And although, the incident was in America, it relates to everyone as the sad incident transcends nationality and race. On Friday, it was revealed that the police have identified the officer who shot Brown.
NBC News now reports that a preliminary autopsy performed on Brown shows that he was shot at least six times from the front – including twice in the head. This is according to a partial image of the report obtained by NBC News from attorney Anthony Gray, who represents Michael Brown’s family.
The autopsy was conducted by Dr. Michael M. Baden at the request of Michael Brown’s family, who will hold a press conference on August 18 at 10:30 a.m. (ET) to discuss the forensic findings.
Following the news that Brown was shot six times, protests resumed once again. The Governor of Missouri, Jay Nixon, has declared a state of emergency in the state.
