Oyo State Declares 7 Day Mourning Period for Arisekola Alao

Ibadan-based Nigerian business tycoon, Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao  passed away yesterday at age 69 while receiving treatment for colon cancer at an international hospital.

Following his death, the Oyo State Government has declared seven days of mourning in the state, Punch reports.

The government has also declared Friday, June 20, 2014 a public holiday, as a mark of respect for the deceased.
