Contemporary Photographer & Artist Yetunde Babaeko debuts “Itan” at the Porsche Center in Lagos
Leading contemporary Nigerian photographer and artist, Yetunde Ayeni-Babaeko presents a stunning collection of black and white photographs engaging African mythology. The exhibition title, ITAN is translated from Yoruba to mean, story or the process of telling stories.

Through photographs, she displays several age-old myths; expanding or editing, paraphrasing or translating to emphasize or de-emphasize basic elements of the story. All works will be presented as photography prints mounted on Di-Bond and hanging from the ceiling.
