BN Travel: KLM Whisks Away BellaNaija’s diabanjo from Lagos to Amsterdam

Hey BellaNaijarians, I am diabanjo, formally known as Lydia Otubanjo and a member of the BellaNaija Weddings Team.
I was honoured to start blogging for BellaNaija in March, 2016 and it has been a fantastic experience so far. I was also pleased to meet and interview Rockstar Florist Jeff Leatham in my first month – click here if you missed his awesomeness.
However, this month I am delighted to announce that for the next three days I will be touring the City of Amsterdam, which is the capital city of the Netherlands, in Europe with International Royal Dutch Airline, KLM.
I will be leaving from Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria later on this evening to arrive at Schiphol Airport, in Amsterdam bright and early tomorrow morning.
Why KLM? Why Amsterdam?
KLM Royal Dutch Airline have invited BellaNaija to experience their New World Business Class, launched in March 2016. The Aircraft has been fitted with new full-flatbeds in the Business class cabin for optimum comfort. The positioning of the new seats in the cabin have a smart design element that ensures maximum privacy while you choose to either work or sleep during your flight.

I am an incredibly tall young lady, 5 foot 10 to be precise, so I am super excited to sink into one of those comfortable looking flat beds and enjoy a bit of shut-eye for a few hours on my flight and also enjoy the perks of flying business class with such a world-renowned airline.
As I’ll be arriving in Amsterdam on the 26th April 2016, it just so happens that my arrival precedes a popular and exciting public holiday called ‘The King’s Day’, festivities for this event will be held all over the city, in streets, parks and canals and it is said to be one of the best sight-seeing days of the year. I believe that is by far the best opportunity to digest the culture, environment and find soft blends for Nigerians who intend to make a regular visit to the northern parts of Europe.
