Brymo: “It’s All Untrue… Just A Ploy To Disrupt My [Album] Release” | ‘Down’ Singer Denies Court Injunction Rumors
Brymo has a knack for hitting the news these days, especially since his third studio album, “Merchants, Dealers & Slaves” dropped online.
Yesterday, word from the grapevine was that Chocolate City, his estranged record label had filed a court injunction against him. This meant that he would not be able to make any profit or gains from any music outside of the Chocolate City umbrella.
But, a few hours ago, the “Eko” singer took to social media website, Twitter to say, “Pls disregard any news about an injunction on my new album M,D&S, it’s all untrue.. Just a ploy to disrupt my release as usual..”

This makes us wonder – is Brymo simply disregarding the alleged court injunction like he did his Chocolate City contract? or was it truly a rumor brewed by his dissenters? I guess we’ll just have to wait to find out.
In other news, the ex-Choc Boi, Brymo decided to share a few tips on what he’s learned from and about women right after dispelling the rumors. Here’s what he said:
If a woman cannot love u for something else aside ur purse, u r not much of a man… An old man once told me.
