In this age, when a lot of experimentation between genres is all we hear, Selebobo comes out with a somewhat very original concept on his new self-produced track “Yoyo”.

Imagine Makossa and Highlife got married, and their son got married to Afro-Pop, “Yoyo” is the result of this analogical tumultuous breeding process.

Simply put, “Yoyo” is the shy second cousin of Iyanya‘s “Kukere” and oozes of that Eastern Nigerian Dance vibe, reminiscent of J Martins, and vocal style reminiscent of Wizboyy or Duncan Mighty. I think it could have been a lot catchier but he did a good job nonetheless; I can see myself dancing Etighi to this. Enjoy!
